Restoran Argyle Beef Noodle

Ah Heng Beef Noodle (RM12) in Restoran Argyle is one of the best in Kuala Lumpur. The broth was dark and strong. I had the mixed beef version and it was full of ingredients, including meatballs, beef slices, intestines, tendon and stomach. The beef tendons were cooked till soft and chewy. The chili sauce was garlicky and tangy, perfect for the meat and mixed parts to reduce the satiated feeling. You can have your noodle in soup or dry version, with mixed or just specific parts of the beef.

Ipoh Road Yong Tau Foo; Jalan Ipoh Yong Tau Foo

Having to relocate several times in the past few years, Ipoh Road Yong Tau Foo is still as good as it is. The Yong Tau Foo (RM1.70 per piece) were light in flavor but still you can taste the sweetness of the fish paste. The fish paste was soft and not too compact. The clear soup was sweet and not too salty.

Other than yong tau foo, the Paper Wrap Chicken (RM4.50) was also popular.
