Tonkatsu by Ma Maison was founded in Japan back in 1976. The first outlet in Malaysia was openedin Kuala Lumpur in 2013.
Hire Katsu Set RM28.90: The deep fried pork fillet was thick and lean, definitely not for fat-lovers. They were a bit dry but those who love lean meat would like it. If you like some fat, you should order Rosu Katsu instead. I love that their fried fillets were very less oily. The side dishes (cabbage, soup & rice) were good, especially with their sauces, and could be refilled unlimitedly, which somehow rationalized the price.
Miso Hire Katsu Set RM32.90: Same items plus the miso sauce. The sauce made the dish a bit too salty.
