Mali’s Corner | Malay Style Char Kuey Teow & Nasi Lemak

Mali’s Corner has two locations in the Setapak area. They have been the go-to spots for many nearby University students and residents. The one located in Platinum Walk is a cafeteria style eatery, while the one at Taman Bunga Raya is a fixed stall by the road.

Mali's Corner Char Kuay Teow Special Setapak

Char Kuey Teow Special RM10: Their main signature. Typical Malay-style char kuey teow which is ‘wet’. Drenched in flavorful gravy, it’s unlike the typical dry fried kuey teow you see. The ‘Special’ version includes more prawns.

Mali's Corner Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak Ayam RM6.50: Not everyone fancy the wet char kuey teow, hence Mali’s Corner Nasi Lemak often becomes the star of the show. The rice texture was alright. They gave a surprisingly large amount of sambal, which were on the sweeter side. The spiced fried chicken (Ayam Berempah) was well seasoned and not overcooked.
