Charlie’s Chicken Chop in Taman Bukit Desa, Kuala Lumpur is a cafe that proudly serve their specialties. These include their Chicken Chops and Sarawak Laksa. During durian season, you might also get to order their signature D24 Durian Gelato.
The Signature Whole Leg Boneless Chicken Chop (RM26.90) is huge! It is served with sides of mashed potatoes, coleslaw, salad, and your choice of sauce (black pepper / mushroom sauce; unlimited refillable). The chicken chop is super crunchy and juicy! If you like crunchy chicken, this is the place to go.
If you are a small eater, they also have mini version of the chicken chop available.
The next signature dish is the Sarawak Laksa (RM21). It is served in a big bowl with a large tiger prawn, stripped omelet, beans sprouts, fishballs, and a squeeze of lime. The broth was thick (kaw!) and delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the fishballs that taste of MSG, without them it would only improve the whole experience.
