Cendol Bakar Kuala Selangor is a good stop to refresh yourself if you are passing by. You can get your ice cold cendol by dining in, or even via their drive-thru lane! While the cendol was decent, and the gula melaka (palm sugar) was good, overall it was quite average. I had the Cendol VVIP (RM3.50) which had pulut (glutinous rice), peanuts, corn, selasih (basil seeds), and Nata de coco.
I also brought a piece of lempeng pisang bakar (grilled banana pancake) (RM3) just to try. It was not bad, slightly chewy with sweet banana flavor.
