Nasi Air Hidang Pok Sen serves one of Kelantan’s unique rice dishes: Nasi Air. It literally translates as ‘Water Rice’. The rice is not as soft as porridge, but more like a rice soup. The hot soup was sour and spicy, and will effectively induce your appetite.
The restaurant signage was in a different name (Nasi Air Klasik Kak Cik) but it’s the correct place.
There were a few kiosks selling various foods. You might not find the sign with Nasi Air Hidang Pok Sen, just look for this larger kiosk and ask about the dish and they would prepare it.
Operating hours:
The place opens from 8am to 8pm (used to be 24 hours before Covid) but the Nasi Air stall opens at 11am to around 5pm.
