Situated in Bukit Tinggi Village, Wonderland Valley Restaurant features an eco friendly mini farm environment. They produce some of the vegetables in their farm.
They also raise their own farm chicken here. Moreover, if you are lucky, you may meet a group of wild boars roaming around the area.
Curry Spicy Boar 咖喱山猪仔 RM22: The wild boar curry was fantastic, while I would prefer it to have more curry in it. The meat was good and didn’t smell too gamey.
Steamed Tilapia 蒸金凤鱼 RM35 per kg: The fish was fresh, generously coated with minced ginger garlic and light soy sauce.
Steamed Farm Chicken 白切菜园鸡 (half) RM32: The chicken meat was chewy and slippery. Organs such as liver and gizzards were also included, and they were nice and soft.
Signature Tofu 招牌豆腐 (large) RM25: Homemade egg tofu with fried outer skin, soaked in starchy gravy with some chunks of mixed vegetables. I wouldn’t say the taste was great but it wasn’t a bad dish to order either.
Green Dragon Vege 青龙菜 (regular) RM12: Pretty good but a little fibrous.
Lala Soup 上汤啦啦 (medium) RM35: The soup was lacking of shaoxing wine. Big lala flesh with thick shell, in the soup together with some black fungus and cilantro.
Sweet Sour Pork On Ice 冰镇咕噜肉 RM25: The pork didn’t have enough maltose coating to bring out the effect of crispy iced you lou york. The flavors were so so.
