Ditto NZ or Ditto Te Anau was once a food truck operated as “Bao Now!” or “Tatakai” in Te Anau. Now the eatery operates in a shop lots just a street away from its original location. Ditto is a high rated and a popular Asian fusion restaurant in town.
Spicy Tuna Bowl ($19.50): Juicy fresh cubes of tuna! It also comes with sushi rice, carrot, cucumber, wakame seaweed salad, edamame, avocado, kimchi, pickled ginger, aioli, sesame, miso, and seaweed tempura. The flavors of everything comes together and is spot on without covering the fresh taste of the raw tuna.
Vietnamese Loaded Fries ($13): Carrot, mung beans, okonomiyaki sauce, garlic aioli, chili sauce, and roasted peanuts. A satisfying mess of crispy fries with a balance between thick sauces and fresh crunchy beans and nuts.
