Erik’s Fish and Chips is easily the best fish and chips shop in Queenstown.
I leveled-up my fish & chips order with Monk Fish ($9) and Erik’s Homemade Chips ($7.90) and there were no regret! The meaty monk fish had a nice tight bite to it and had a mild sweet flavor. The extra crispy Erik’s Homemade Chips were so good!
Wanna challenge your taste buds? Go and try their various deep fried items! You might find deep fried kiwi fruit, deep fried pineapple rings, and even deep fried feijoa fruit (seasonal).
I had the Deep Fried Kiwi Fruit ($4.50) coated with cinnamon sugar.
Just a short walk away is Queenstown Bay Beach and it’s a good place to enjoy your fish & chips with the view of Lake Wakatipu!
